Dancer

Katherine began dancing with Angela Dennis at the age of four, and she currently trains in ballet under Marilyn Pipes and Desiree Witt at Morgantown Dance Studio. Katherine has appeared in two local “Nutcracker” productions, the premiere of “Momotaro,” and “Ebenezer” (2008), and as a guest performer in Alchemy Dance Project’s “Reflections.” She is excited to be dancing for the first time as a member of Red Stone Dance Initiative.

Katherine, a sixth grader, has also been a violin student for eight years. She enjoys swimming competitively, paddling in her kayak, folk dancing with her family, studying Spanish, eating sushi, and cuddling with her golden retriever.
