Dancer

John Michael began dance training at the age of three with Movements In Dance Fairmont. He has furthered his education in ballet, jazz, tap, acro & hip-hop, through
workshops with Dance Master of Pa & Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, Tremaine Dance Conventions, New York Dance Alliance, Stars of Tomorrow, and Rose & Rousseau Dance Theatre USA.

He has held three dance titles, 2007 Junior Stars of
Tomorrow, Master Dance of PA 2007, Jr. Mister Dance of PA 2009. He has been a ballet & jazz scholarship recipient in previous years and is currently a full ballet scholarship recipient with Pittsburgh Ballet Theater (Summer Intensive 2010).

This is his first year with Red Stone Dance Initiative and his first time performing at the Spring 2010 WV Dance Festival. His modern dance training began Summer 2009 under Angela Dennis and Kara Lawson.
