Samantha Hanna is a biology major at West Virginia University where she is a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma and a student in the Honors College.

She began her training at an early age at January’s Academy of Dance in Charleston, WV,her hometown.

Samantha was a founding member of JADCO Contemporary Dance Company with whom she danced for six years and served as captain her senior year. She also danced in the Capital High School Dance Company.

During her freshman and sophomore years at WVU, Samantha was a member of the WVU Dance Ensemble. She has performed roles in performances such as “The Nutcracker,” “The Thisledowne Fairies” (an original ballet), “Oklahoma,” and many other numerous choreography showcases and festivals. Samantha will graduate in May of 2010 and plans to pursue a master’s degree in public health in the fall.
